The Peace of Mind Foundation is proud to announce that the International OCD Foundation has acquired the foundation.

Throughout the years, Peace of Mind Foundation (POM) has been involved in providing educational resources and access to self-help tools, offering scholarship opportunities, supporting professional training programs, spreading awareness about OCD and related disorders, and so much more. Through our endeavors, we have worked alongside the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) to collaborate in an effort to impact an even broader OCD population. This partnership has presented the foundation with unique opportunities to meet the needs of those we serve and to help expand access to evidence-based treatment. For years, the IOCDF and POM have worked to establish complementary programs and resources. As this partnership has grown, we have been moving towards combining forces.

Our valued resources and support will continue through the combined efforts of Dr. Elizabeth McIngvale and the entire IOCDF team. This transition will only make the OCD community stronger. The POM brand will continue to live on as part of the IOCDF’s virtual community, and Dr. McIngvale will take on a central role as one of the IOCDF’s new National Advocates alongside Ethan Smith.

Thank you for being an essential part of helping us spread awareness and hope to those impacted by OCD. We would like for you to join us on this exciting journey as we officially become part of the IOCDF. We are overjoyed that our mission will be accelerated through the IOCDF’s dynamic team and leadership.

Thank you,

Elizabeth McIngvale, Ph.D.
